Casino Shuttles

Macau Shuttle Buses

Shuttles and Guided Tours

The cheapest means of travel is likely to be via the Shuttles, which is a complimentary service offered by many of the hotels and resorts in the area. The services are usually offered as a courtesy to their patrons and guests. This is of course not always necessary depending on your intentions while visiting the region. Some guided tours will provide transportation during your stay if you choose to book your vacation with such a service.

There are several free casino shuttle buses that cover much more than just the casinos. They also tend to cover transit points and almost all of the major cultural sites and tourist destinations as well. A majority of the hotels in Macau operate shuttle buses for their guests. Casino shuttles can be utilized by anyone free of charge. No questions are asked of those boarding casino operated shuttles. Note that if you are boarding a shuttle operated by a smaller hotel with no casino you may require a booking voucher while boarding from the airport or ferry terminals.

You can also board free shuttles operated by nearby casinos to the one you actually stay at. Wynn, MGM, StarWorld, and Grand Lisboa are all located on the Amizade strip. Taking a shuttle headed to StarWorld, you can easily walk across the street to the Wynn Casino. Services are similar on the Cotai Strip. The Venetian Macao, Sands Cotai Central, City of Dreams and Galaxy Macau are all found near each other on the strip. If you don’t mind traveling in public transit, it’s very easy to have a holiday in Macau without the need to ever pay for transportation just by using the casino shuttle buses.

Here’s one way of doing so:

Free Shuttle Bus From Macau Ferry Terminal and Taipa Ferry Terminal

To the Amizade Strip in Downtown Macau

You can get to both the Macau Ferry Terminal and the Taipa Ferry Terminal via free shuttle buses. To get to the Amizade Strip, take a shuttle operated by Sands Macau, StarWorld, Lisboa, or any other shuttle from either terminal.

Shuttle Bus from the Macau Ferry Terminal

Macau Ferry Terminal to Sands Macau: 9:00am to 11:55pm Daily, Every 5-10 Minutes

Shuttle Bus from the Taipa Ferry Terminal

Taipa Ferry Terminal to Sands Macau: 7:45am to 11:50pm Daily Every 10-15 Minutes

Night Service from Taipa Ferry Terminal to Sands Macau City 12:20am, 12:35am, 1:20am, 1:30am.

Your hotel is likely to have a shuttle service even if it isn’t mentioned in your voucher. Just cross over to the shuttle bus area and take a look around. Ask any staff from any of the casinos or hotels present whether your hotel has a shuttle service. Show them your hotel voucher if there’s any language barrier. They should be able to point you in the right direction.
