Rio Casino & Hotel Macau
The Rio Hotel & Casino is a grand contender in the Macau gambling scene, having opened its doors to the public over 10 years ago back in 2006. It has a great reputation in the region, mostly for its decadent furnishings and luxurious design, replicating a royal Italian palace to the finest detail. From it’s elegant hotel suites, to it’s non-stop gambling action, recreational services and a host of gourmet restaurants, the Rio Casino & Hotel has certainly earned its excellent reputation in spite of the fact that it’s one of the smaller establishments of the region. There is also a popular nightclub and a spa here at the Rio, additions to the array of features and services that make it a great stay.
This Casino is owned and operated by Galaxy Entertainment Group, who opened it the same year they opened the President Casino & Hotel, another reputable stay especially if you’re looking for a great nights stay on a budget. One of the many features of the Rio Casino that makes it so superb, is it’s convenient location on Fisherman’s Wharf. You’ll find with most Casinos in Macau that they are surrounded by other casinos and all centrally located in gambling-dedicated districts (the result of a policy restricting the locations of new casinos). The Rio Casino is no exception, just a short walk from it’s doors can take you to a grand selection of Casinos and Historical sites.
Just 2km from the Rio Casino you’ll find the Ruins of St. Paul’s Cathedral, The Macau Tower, and the Macau-Hong Kong Ferry Terminal is even closer being in Fisherman’s Wharf itself. Should you decide to seek the tourist attractions Macau has to offer, the Rio is ideally located to do so. The rooms and suites here offer free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs for every room. Guests will also find fully stocked minibars, large Jacuzzi tubs, and tea and coffee accommodations. 24-hour room service is also available for guests here at the Rio Casino & Hotel
Also included among its many guest accommodations is an any-time shuttle-bus between the Rio Casino Hotel and the Macau to Hong Kong ferry terminal. For a small fee guests can enjoy a luxury breakfast buffet in an international-cuisine restaurant featuring exquisite dining from around the world. Guests can also enjoy a warmly decorated lobby bar with a great selection of drinks. Additional amenities include an indoor pool, a spa with a sauna, a gym and fitness center, as well as accommodations for those on business trips in the form of conference rooms for those traveling on international business negotiations.
The dining selections may be limited to just three restaurants here at the Rio Casino & Hotel, but you’ll find that in any of those three restaurants the service and food is truly superb. Gourmet meals and excellent staff and customer service make any of the three choices a great dining destination
