Casino Grand Lisboa
Casino Grand Lisboa was opened in February 2007 and it was the first one in Macau to offer Texas hold’em poker ring games and craps games. The casino is spread over five floors, covering a large area of gaming space. It is open 24/7 offering gaming around the clock. The entire building is covered with LCD screens, creating a dramatic effect at night, although it is impressive during the day as well. The new Grand Lisboa is connected by footbridge to the original Casino Hotel Lisboa that Stanley Ho opened in 1971. The casino displays the Star of Stanley Ho, a 218.08 carat diamond. There is a food and beverage service for patrons, as well as professional staff to assist at any time.
It includes more than 800 gaming machines and more than 240 gaming and poker tables. Gaming tables include blackjack, American roulette, baccarat (140 tables), 3 card baccarat, sic bo, Caribbean stud poker and Fortune Wheel. Table games include high limit table and private tables, as well as ten exclusive VIP areas to cater to the VIP guests at the casino.
Slots games are spread over five floors and include low denomination and high denomination games (from as low as 5 cents to as high as 6,000 dollars) and 15 linked jackpots. There are also games available in the high limit “Tycoon Club” which includes 30 machines with jackpots reaching more than ten million dollars. The casino also offers regular promotions and giveaways and players can enjoy food and beverages serviced by the friendly staff on the casino floor.
Casino Promotions and Special Events
The casino offers multiple promotions which are updated on a regular basis. These promotions can include sign up bonuses, weekly specials, dining privileges, birthday promotions, fortune pick draws and much more. Players can enjoy many benefits and gifts at the casino.
Grand Lisboa Casino & Hotel
The Grand Lisboa Casino & Hotel is one impressive building. The entire structure is covered in LCD screens and makes an incredible show in the night, however its equally impressive in the day time. We know because we’ve stayed there. The rooms are impeccable. They have a great buffet (although you won’t find one better than Galaxy Casino Macau in Cotai in our opinion) and one of the most massive gaming floors in Macau.
The building itself is 281 meters tall and is the tallest casino in Macau. (You can see it from Taipa easily from Greek Mythology Casino). There are nearly 500 hotel rooms in this place. As for casino gaming, Grand Lisboa offers you some of the best: The casino is nearly 100,000 square feet. It has one of the largest table game layouts in Macau hosting over 230 tables! All in addition to over 1000 slot machines.
The Grand Lisboa was designed by teams of International architects and interior designers. The property is shaped like a giant lotus flower and opened in 2007 just before Chinese New Year. The new Grand Lisboa is connected by a footbridge with the original Casino Hotel Lisboa which Stanley Ho opened back in 1971.
The remainder of the complex, which includes a 47-storey tower, will open with 430 hotel rooms later this year. With a breathtaking light show from the world’s largest integrated LED screen installed on the Grand Lisboa’s exterior, Ho has clearly upped the ante on his competitors. There are 761 Slot machines available in a huge game room part of which is pictured here. We highly recommend the gaming experience found here at the Grand Lisboa Casino & Hotel. It should be high on the list of any vacation to Macau China with gambling and gaming in mind. While the Grand Lisboa Casino & Hotel offers many great accommodations and luxury amenities to its guests, it is the gaming and opulence of the game rooms available that make it a truly grand destination for any visitor!
