Right from the day Galaxy Macau Mega Resort project was put into action, the Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) had planned to make this resort one of the largest casinos in the world. True to their word, the GEG now features 700 gaming tables and 3,000 slot machines at the resort. The gaming hall is huge enough to accommodate thousands of players at a time. The length of the gaming hall is around 1,000 feet while it is 50 feet high.

Pavilion Poker Room at Galaxy Casino:
Here you’ll also find one of the few poker rooms in Macau, the Pavilion Poker Room, located conveniently in the center of the main game room floor at the Galaxy Macau Casino. It is a small but attractively designed poker venue hosting eight poker tables, six for cash games, and two for tournaments and Sit’n’Goes. Only No Limit Hold Em’ is offered at the moment, but in the near future it is expected to expand its poker game offerings as training for dealers comes to completion. Games are played at stakes of 25/50 and up with the rake usually set at five percent and capped at HKD250 ($32 USD) for 25/50 games and HKD300 ($38 USD) for all higher stakes games. The room, like the casino you’ll find it in, is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. It has it’s cashier, and offers gourmet food options to players as well as having a poker and Galaxy Entertainment themed gift shop.

This resort is on the expensive side catering mostly to the VIP market as far as casino resorts and hotel accommodations go, but provided you can afford to stay here, it is by far one of the finest luxury resorts in Macau by all accounts.
