A-Ma Cultural Village
The A-Ma Cultural Village is nearby the world’s tallest statue of the Taoist Goddess A-Ma (also known as Tin Hau) on the mountaintop of Macau’s Coloane Island. The Village is a 7000 square meter cultural complex which celebrates the legend of the Goddess of Seafarers. The village architecture is composed of a pavilion-style front gate, a carved marble altar, Tin Hau Palace, the Dressing Hall, the Bell Tower, and the Drum Tower. The large complex is meant to attract A-Ma devotees and intrigued tourists alike. Nearby you will find a park next to the village, or you can follow the hiking trail up the magnificent A-Ma Statue on the hill top and enjoy a captivating view of the island in all its glory.
